Christ Church’s original tracker organ was electrified in the early 1950s. Work included a new console by Organ Supply Industries. During the night of January 5, 2010, a large, solid marble commemorative plaque weighing nearly 600 pounds, which for generations was affixed to the wall above the console, fell and landed directly on the console, essentially destroying it.
A new mobile console was designed by Foley-Baker, Inc., and built by Organ Supply Industries of Erie, PA. Installation was completed on October 15, 2011.
